Your ad status notifies you if your ad is running, paused or blocked. The ad status is represented by a symbol on the campaign, ad group and ad level. After you create a campaign, ad group and ad, it can take our system up to one business day for approval. When your ad is approved or disapproved, we send you an email notifying you.
To check your ad status:
The chart below indicates what the status symbol represents at each level of your campaign:

Status Definitions
Running: Ad is running if it can be served.
Note: This does not take into account ads that are not served due to targeting or traffic-related issues.
Paused: Ad is paused by the user, but otherwise capable of being served.
Blocked: Ads can be blocked for a number of reasons. Possible reasons include:
• Ad is pending moderation.
• Ad belongs to a campaign that has not started (before the campaign start date).
• Ad belongs to a campaign that has ended (the campaign end date has passed)
• Ad belongs to a campaign that has reached its campaign budget limit.
• Ad belongs to an account with a zero account balance.
Note: Blocked ads can also be paused or running, but one of the above conditions must be true.
